Here we celebrate bright and bold quilts.

Many many years ago I decided to make my first quilt, and after the first one, I was hooked. With a background in fashion design and having my own clothing range I've always loved sewing, fabrics and bold colours, but once I made my first quilt I fell in love with how it transforms a room.

All of my qult fabric pieces are meticulousy cut by me with scissors (I'm old-school), hand pieced, assembled and then I have a quilter that finishes the tops with the batting and reverse sides.

I love putting contrasting colours together, that give the quilt a 'pop'. Most quilts use polycotton and cotton fabrics but I also use vintage fabrics and vintage clothes in many of my quilts. Since 2005 I have made more than 80 quilts and will keep on creating as long as I can.
